I had an interesting conversation with one of our CFE athletes just the other day on the subject of sauces. He struggles with weight issues and he knows Paleo eating is a key ingredient to his successful weight loss program. He can gut it out during the Paleo Challenge but the REAL challenge comes when the hoopla’s over and the he moves into maintenance mode. I think we all get that.
He’s a guy who loves sauces. “Don’t even think about giving me a dry grilled chicken breast.” He wants it smothered in saucy goodness. But herein lies the problem: Most sauces are off-limits to Primal eaters. It’s hard to find a bottled variety that isn’t tainted with high fructose corn syrup and a host of other nasty ingredients. And even those we make from scratch have other things we should probably not consume.
So I’m on a mission to find this guy some legal SAUCE!! Guess where I found the first recipe? Right here on our own CFE website! We’ve been in the process of revamping and reworking the website for several months now so maybe you didn’t even know we had recipes! Well we do and they’re GOOD.
